AV Support Specialist100% Onsite | No Remote or Hybrid OptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Audio Visual Support Specialist to support conference rooms, meeting spaces, and presentation environments. This role focuses on day-to-day meeting support, AV system setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring rooms are fully operational for scheduled meetings and events.The ideal candidate has strong technical fundamentals, a customer-focused mindset, and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader support team when needed. This is a fully onsite position supporting a professional, business-casual office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, support, and troubleshoot presentation and conferencing systems for meetings and eventsProvide daily room checks to ensure AV systems, displays, microphones, and conferencing tools are fully operationalDeliver meeting and event support, including pre-meeting setup and live troubleshootingTroubleshoot audio and video conferencing systems, projection equipment, and display technologiesSupport Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms during meetingsInstall, test, deliver, and track portable presentation and conferencing equipmentCoordinate equipment repairs and replacements as neededMaintain accurate documentation and inventory related to supported AV systemsRequired Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience with audio and video conferencing systemsStrong working knowledge of projection and display systemsExperience providing meeting and conference room supportFamiliarity with Microsoft Teams for meetings and collaborationExperience with Crestron-based environments (or similar AV control systems)High School Diploma/GED 2-5 years of relevant AV, UC, or IT support experienceNice to HaveZoom and/or Webex support experienceAdditional hands-on exposure to Crestron systemsWork Environment & Schedule100% onsite role - no hybrid or remote work availableMonday-Friday schedule, typically 7:00/7:30 AM - 4:00/4:30 PMFlexibility required for early meetings and event supportIndependent, hands-on work with collaboration from teammates as neededBusiness-casual office environmentWhy This RoleOpportunity to support modern meeting and collaboration environmentsLong-term contract potential with opportunity for extended engagementExposure to enterprise-level AV and unified communications technologyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Waukegan, IL.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
