Logistics Manager (Western Range)

Company Overview: American Communications Solutions and By Light Professional IT Services are recruiting dedicated and talented IT Service and Program Management Office professionals for the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract. EWOCS provides reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Responsibilities: Daily asset management services in support of program activities End point asset supply chain management for the entire asset life cycle Meet regularly with stakeholders to forecast procurement and acquisition requirements Enforces physical security measures and 100% accountability of all assigned program property, both GFE and Program specific Evaluate existing capabilities and recommend processes changes for improved efficiency Required Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's with 5 - 7 years of experience, a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience Demonstrated experience managing Government Property and Contractor Acquired Property in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and Air Force guidance related to Information Technology Asset Management and commercial best practices Demonstrated experience conducting inventories and reporting and managing inventory levels Demonstrated experience in procuring and acquiring items through Government purchase systems and Government supply systems to include the Integrated Logistics Supply-System Demonstrated experience as a Property Custodian Ability to develop a Property Management Plan and to execute and control property management operations Familiarity with Government shipping, vehicle, and fuel operations and management Experience and understanding of supply chain management life cycle Must possess strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills Preferred Experience/Qualifications: Professional Property Administrator certification, or Certified Professional Property Manager certification 5+ years of experience managing logistics on Government Programs with GFE accountability 3+ years of logistics experience supporting Launch Range activities 3+ years supporting Air Force Logistics Readiness Squadrons or equivalent DoD units Special Requirements/Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Physical Demands: Possess the ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
