Sr. Manager, Contract Manufacturing

The Sr. Mgr. Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for managing relations and performance for partner facilities. You will provide direction and strategy to the manufacturing partner network, negotiate tolling agreements, oversee financial analysis and performance with finance partners, and ensure contract conformance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate demand and supply planning to deliver on Cooperative business objectives. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement initiatives, new product launches, and cost optimization opportunities to grow the Cooperative’s operational effectiveness.
A Day in the Life...
Responsible for leading overall operations management, financial and contract development of the contract manufacturing network.
Lead the Contract Manufacturing Team – provide development, coaching, support, and guidance.
Provides operational direction and coordination of the Master Production Schedule, capacity and supply materials/ingredients with contract manufacturers through Ocean Spray’s Operations Planning Team.
Lead new product initiatives by providing support in the development, planning, implementation and continual coordination of Contract Manufacturing resources.
Negotiate costing for new products with new and existing partners.
Optimize the contract manufacturing network to ensure manufacturing capability exists within the system to deliver Ocean Spray products that meet quality specifications and service levels within the desired timeframes.
Perform budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, tracking, reconciliation, systems support and integration.
Coordinate supply planning process between Demand Planning organization and contract manufacturers via Operations Planning.
Provide systems and process improvement support to contract manufacturers and implement cost optimization opportunities with partner facilities.
What We Are Looking For:
Required
Experience in Manufacturing/Business Administration
Experience in field operations with food and beverage organization
Strong operations background
Strong financial background
Experience and understanding of operations planning and MRP
Knowledge of manufacturing process
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized
Experience in project management
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
Work Experience:
At least 7 Years of Experience
Annual Salary:
$128,000 - $176,000
The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position’s typical hiring range.
