Endocrinology Physician

Join Our Team as an Endocrinologist in Pueblo, Colorado! We are looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Endocrinologist to join our established and patient-focused outpatient endocrinology practice in Pueblo, Colorado. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in diabetes, thyroid, and osteoporosis management, all while enjoying the vibrant community, stunning Rocky Mountain scenery, and abundant outdoor lifestyle that Southern Colorado has to offer. Job Responsibilities: Provide specialized care for the treatment and management of diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, and osteoporosis. See approximately 15 patients per day in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with an enthusiastic team to ensure excellent patient care. Utilize EPIC EMR system-wide for patient documentation. Work towards establishing a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) on-site. Practice does not include pediatric patients. Engage in continuous improvement and innovative practices in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one. Clean malpractice history preferred. Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days). Required at presentation. DEA must be obtained prior to start. License and Certification Requirements: Active Colorado state medical license (or willingness to obtain). Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine. Board Certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. DEA registration before starting the position.
