PROJECT MANAGER - DATA & ANALYTICS

Come and step into the role of Project Manager of Data & Analytics with us at our esteemed global media client, you’ll lead the charge in delivering top-tier Enterprise Data projects. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with IT and business stakeholders, and liaising with a dedicated Product team to ensure on-time solution and project delivery. You’ll have the exciting responsibility of meeting the business’s data needs, working with data science teams, marketing professionals, and international groups to provide them with the crucial data they need for their data-driven workflows. Our projects will focus on cloud data platforms, data pipelines, data onboarding, data curation, visualization and more. Your expertise will directly influence our client's marketing strategies and business outcomes through timely arrival of these projects. This is a contract opportunity that must be worked onsite 3 days / week on PST hours within the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Work within a data environment that includes Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, and Snowflake Onboarding new datasets or data platforms and data availability via API, data pipelines and transformation of data Supporting the business with data availability for their visualization requirements (Looker, Tableau, etc.) Work with data science teams to ensure the proper datasets or platforms can be utilized for modeling and training Work with marketing teams (domestic and international) to ensure their data related projects are delivered on time Track project progress using Jira and other tools using an Agile / Scrum methodology Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Operationally manage the personnel assigned to the project team Ensure that project reviews and quality assurance procedures take place Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Ensure resource availability and allocation Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Qualifications 5 years of enterprise Project Manager experience Experience with Enterprise Data projects Experience with Jira and agile project methodology Experience and familiarity with data onboarding, data pipelines, data platforms, analytics, data science, marketing and insights Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods Excellent knowledge of resource management principles Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) Outstanding leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $50 - $65/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
