Toddler Teacher

Job DescriptionSt. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is a Preschool-8th grade parochial school in Tacoma, WA. We are seeking an aide for our two year old preschool classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must have or is currently working on their STARS certification (candidate will receive assistance with this if needed and will be reimbursed for the cost) with all things updated in MERIT by the first day of employment. The applicant must also demonstrate strengths in the following areas:Foster social, emotional and academic growth while working with 2 and 3 year oldsShow genuine care and concern for childrenPreparing materials, projects, assignmentsLeading small groupsWorking with students who have a diverse set of needs and learning stylesHelping to maintain a clean and orderly classroom environmentHelping with Potty Training and change diapers as neededAssist and take direction from the lead teacher with the children and daily routinesFostering positive parent communication as necessaryPromoting healthy peer interactions between children of all abilitiesPracticing Catholic preferredOther duties as assignedHourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 - 23.00 (based on education and experience)Benefits: A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA,FSA, sick leave, vacation, and holidays.Please apply directly using Applitrack and email your letter of interest and resume to the principal, Beth O'Reilly at boreilly@stcharlesb.org
