Community Engagement Lead (CEO Support)Organization: Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose — Daughters of PromiseLocation: Southeast Michigan (Michigan‑Based Required)Type: Volunteer Leadership RoleReports To: Chief Executive OfficerSchedule: 2–3 in‑person events per month + occasional planning callsAbout the RoleSisters in Christ: Women of Purpose is seeking a Michigan‑based Community Engagement Lead to work directly alongside the CEO in the field. This leadership role focuses on strengthening our presence in the community through in‑person engagement, relationship building, and event support.This position is not part of the Outreach Team. It functions as a direct extension of the CEO’s office. The ideal candidate must live in Southeast Michigan to support consistent, hands‑on engagement.Key Responsibilities• Attend 2–3 in‑person events per month with the CEO• Support table setup, presentation, and breakdown at community events• Engage women with professionalism, clarity, and compassion• Share information about the organization’s mission, programs, and resources• Build relationships with attendees, vendors, and community partners• Gather contact information and support follow‑up processes• Represent the CEO and the organization with excellence• Assist with event logistics and on‑site coordinationIdeal Candidate• Michigan‑based and located in Southeast Michigan (required)• Confident, warm, and comfortable engaging with diverse groups of women• Passionate about community engagement and empowerment• Reliable, organized, and committed to consistent in‑person presence• Strong communicator with a professional and approachable demeanor• Able to support light event logistics (carrying materials, setup, etc.)Time Commitment• 2–3 in‑person events per month• Occasional planning calls or check‑ins• Evening and weekend availability as neededWhy This Role MattersThis leader plays a key role in extending the CEO’s reach, strengthening the organization’s visibility across Michigan, and ensuring that women feel supported, seen, and connected to the resources we provide.
