Ergonomics Engineer / Ergonomics SpecialistFlorence, SCJob Description & Skill Requirement:'Key Responsibilities1. Conduct ergonomic assessments for Assembly workstations,Manufacturing processes & Material handling tasks2. Perform risk assessment using standard tools (RULA, REBA, NIOSH, etc.)3. Analyze operator posture, force, repetition, and task frequency4. Identify musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risks and unsafe practices5. Evaluate layout, tooling, equipment, and work cell design6. Conduct workplace evaluations and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities7. Recommend and implement ergonomic improvements Workstation redesign,Height adjustments, assist devices, tooling changes & Process re-engineering8. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ergonomics into Product design & Manufacturing processes9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives10. Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Safety & EHS teams & Manufacturing teams11. Contribute to process optimization and productivity improvement12. Ensure compliance with Ergonomic standards, Occupational health & safety regulations13. Develop and maintain Ergonomic assessment reports & Risk registers and mitigation plans14. Document findings, recommendations, and implementation impact15. Conduct training sessions on Ergonomic best practices & Safe work methods16. Coach operators and supervisors on Posture, lifting techniques, and risk prevention17. Use ergonomic assessment tools and digital solutions such as Digital Human Modeling (e.g., JACK, DELMIA, Process Simulate)18. Analyze data and track effectiveness of interventions19. Support digital transformation initiatives in ergonomics
