Training and Development Specialist

Job Title: Training Resource / Learning & Development SpecialistLocation: Onsite Nashville, TNContract Duration: Until 02/03/2027OverviewSeeking a Training Resource to support enterprise transformation initiatives by creating engaging learning materials, facilitating training programs, and helping drive adoption of new systems and processes across a global organization. This role will work closely with operations, technology, finance, and transformation teams to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for successful implementation and long-term adoption.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience creating PowerPoint presentations, synthesizing complex information into user-friendly content, and supporting training execution in fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Content & CommunicationDevelop PowerPoint slide decks for executive and stakeholder presentations.Participate in stakeholder meetings and translate meeting discussions into clear presentation materials and documentation.Create written communications and learning materials for learning management systems (LMS).Support training program adoption by tracking training completion and learner engagement metrics.Transform technical and operational information into user-friendly training resources for broad audiences.Training Strategy & DevelopmentAssist in developing training strategies aligned with transformation initiatives and business objectives.Conduct learning needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and training requirements.Support the design of instructor-led training, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, job aids, simulations, and video tutorials.Build structured learning paths tailored to different roles, business functions, and geographic regions.Facilitation & DeliveryFacilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for diverse learner groups.Coordinate training logistics, scheduling, readiness communications, and learner support activities.Provide training support during system launches, pilot programs, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with transformation, operations, finance, and technology teams to stay aligned on system updates and process changes.Work with business leaders and change champions to reinforce adoption and communication efforts.Support managers and leaders in driving behavioral change and learning adoption.Continuous ImprovementCollect learner feedback and improve training materials and delivery methods based on insights.Monitor post-implementation adoption trends and identify areas requiring additional training or reinforcement.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in training, learning & development, user enablement, or related fields.Strong written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Experience creating user-friendly learning content and presentation materials.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Agile or product-based environments.Familiarity with financial operations or enterprise process workflows.Experience supporting global training initiatives across multiple regions or business units.Experience using LMS or learning design tools.Ideal Candidate ProfileClear and engaging communicator with strong attention to detail.Collaborative team player comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Adaptable problem solver who can respond quickly to evolving business needs.Organized and proactive with strong follow-through skills.Success MetricsTraining programs are delivered on schedule with positive learner feedback.Employees demonstrate confidence using new systems and processes after implementation.Stakeholders feel aligned and supported throughout transformation initiatives.Reduction in post-launch support issues through effective training and enablement efforts.Training materials become trusted resources across the organization.
