Full Time Homemaker/Housekeeper/Cook

Job Summary Either a 8a-6p Shift, 8a-2p shift or 2p-6p shift available. The Homemaker plays a vital role in maintaining a warm, clean, and nurturing environment for residents at our small assisted living community. This position is primarily responsible for preparing nutritious meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, deep cleaning apartments and common areas, and occasionally assisting with resident care needs during emergencies or transfers. The Homemaker also supports the overall well-being of residents by engaging in meaningful interaction during life enrichment activities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and prepare home-style, nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences of residents. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Clean dishes, sanitize surfaces, and ensure proper food storage practices. Deep clean resident apartments and shared spaces (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, etc.). Maintain a pleasant and hygienic environment throughout the facility. Monitor for safety hazards and report maintenance needs promptly. Respond to occasional requests from caregivers to assist with resident transfers or emergency situations. Interact positively with residents and participate in or help facilitate life enrichment programs. And other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications: Experience in food service, housekeeping, or elder care is highly valued. Ability to follow dietary guidelines, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures. Kind, dependable, and compassionate demeanor. Must pass background checks and health screening as required by state regulations. Why Join Us?
