Now part of Cytometric Therapeutics, Inc., Weisenthal Cancer Group plays a critical research role, leveraging its SynRxTM platform to identify novel therapeutic targets for advancement into clinical trials.Position: Laboratory TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of laboratory duties, supporting high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities· Set up and take down assays following established protocols· Process specimens with accuracy and timeliness· Prepare and make slides for analysis· Set drug plates and ensure proper experimental setups· Perform Alamar Blue, MTT, ATP, and DISC assays· Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts and laboratory records· Make reagents and media as required for laboratory assaysAdditional Responsibilities and ExpectationsLab Maintenance and Cleaning· Monitor equipment temperatures· Clean water baths, incubators, cytospins, and centrifuges· Calibrate balances and pipettes· QC autoclave· Dispose of trash and biohazard materials appropriatelyCell Culture Support· Demonstrate strong aseptic technique· Exhibit excellent pipetting skills· Prepare drug plates as neededWork Schedule and Environment· Tues - Sat 9:00 - 5:30 with some flex time.
