Payroll Administrator
The Payroll & Office Administrator oversees all aspects of the firm's payroll procedures and coordinates the Boston office administration and procedures, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The successful candidate is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties, including payroll and executive support-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and processes the firm's weekly payroll, manages on- and off-boarding of employees, and runs related reports.
Defines procedures for retaining, protecting, retrieving, and disposing of payroll records.
Assists the HR Manager with benefits administration and events.
Oversees scheduling for administrative staff to ensure attorney coverage.
Develops and updates office policies in collaboration with HR.
Manages the general administration of the Boston office, including meetings, events, procurement, and facilities management.
Provides administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
Coordinates with the IT department for office equipment management.
Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of payroll regulations and software.
Office management and administrative experience.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Paycom.
Knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
College degree preferred.
Experience in law firms or professional services is a plus.

Pay: $75,698.00 - $80,000.00 per year
