Janitor PositionDo you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming? We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our members and staff. Responsibilities include vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, washing windows, emptying trash, and completing general maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness and safety of the building Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete QualificationsDriver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite Excellent stamina and physical health Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic Strong working knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment Compensation $16.90-$18.00 hourly About Valley Fitness Atascadero At Valley Fitness, we're not just a gym; we're a thriving community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
