Our passion for precision and performance drives everything we do.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Production based in Bensalem, PA. The Head of Production will oversee all production-related operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Responsibilities include production scheduling, workflow optimization, managing operations, supervising teams, and adhering to budgetary guidelines. Additionally, the Head of Production will focus on implementing processes that align with the company’s commitment to quality and innovation in golf equipment manufacturing.Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations, including CNC machining, putter assembly, sandblasting, and finishing processesLead, train, and manage production staff to ensure efficiency, quality, and accountabilityDevelop and implement production schedules to meet order demand and delivery timelinesEnsure all putters meet Makefield’s quality standards prior to shipmentSupervise order fulfillment and shipping operations, including use of ShipStation and logistics coordinationManage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goodsBuild and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent material flow and pricingTroubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalabilityMaintain and oversee proper use and maintenance of CNC machines and shop equipmentCollaborate with leadership on product development, forecasting, and operational strategyEnsure a safe, organized, and compliant production environmentQualifications5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production management, or a similar leadership roleStrong experience working with CNC machinery and machining processesProven ability to lead and develop a team in a production environmentExperience with shipping and fulfillment platforms (ShipStation or similar)Strong understanding of quality control standards and process optimizationExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to balance hands-on work with high-level operational oversightExperience in golf equipment, metal fabrication, or custom manufacturing is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to work on the production floor for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]Comfortable working with machinery and tools in a manufacturing setting
