This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. DMV's Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking an individual to serve as an Application Developer for the Enterprise Modernization Project Branch. The incumbent will support application development and maintenance activities for DMV's core business applications. The incumbent will work on projects that interface with DMV's core systems and contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications and services. The incumbent will collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements and new functionalities. This Group is responsible for supporting salesforce/mule releases, system integration, performing unit testing, and maintaining and enhancing existing applications. The incumbent will also support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement efforts across the application landscape. This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent. All eligible applicants may apply. A training and development assignment may be considered.
