Female Group Home Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The candidate is the face of the company in daily and regular relationships with our members. It is important that our group home manager be a person who is personable, caring, honest, and professional in mirroring the esteemed image of our agency. Primary Responsibilities and Duties will be to: Manage our group home to ensure that the highest standard is maintained. Responsible for managing and leading Direct Care Staff, including enforcing performance and attendance standards. Accountable for the following: home members, employees, staffing, coverage needs, & group home operations. Ensure that all documentations are properly done and submitted in a timely fashion. Provide care support services to members who have developmental or temporary disabilities in a group home. Ensure that residents meet all their appointments or daily activities. Occasionally transport members to social engagements or appointments. Provide motivational, positive and reassuring support to our dependent members Assist members in adjusting back to their regular routines, which may include social activities. Ensures that a clean and safe environment is maintained, and that support provided meets expectations of Divine Heart; complies with all relevant licensing requirements. Attend the PCSP and medication review meetings. Be able to write incident reports. Make sure ALL documentation is filled out correctly. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Must have CPR/first aid certification, Article 9 and Prevention and Support Must have Fingerprint Clearance card Must have Valid driver’s license Comfortable with assisting residents with hygiene and medical routines. Must be able to work your scheduled shift. Must be able to find staff for any open shifts or cover the open shifts. Train new staff. Ability to work in a group home, home-like settings. Communication skills (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the agency. Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting at least 25 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time. Must stay up on compliance with state and federal regulations.
