Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Coverage Needed Start Date: 05/14/2026 Schedule: 7 am on 05/14/2026 through 7 am on 05/15/2026 potential for additional shifts Coverage Type: On Call Clinical Details Practice Setting: Clinic/Hospital Call: 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend) Provider would need to be within a 30-minute radius at all times while on call EMR: Meditech Expanse for documentation and patient management Support Staff: APPs, nursing staff, 4 physicians Bed Size: 45 staffed beds, plus 20-room ED Patients Per Day: Deliveries average one per day; approximately 360 births/year High Risk Pregnancy: Occasional high-risk delivery; typically referred to tertiary centers C-Section Percentage: 30% Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1 Nursery Level: 1 Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) FHR Interpretation - NST & FSE OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level II/Targeted (Anatomic) Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc. Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations as required Requirements Board Certified or truly board eligible (within 1 year of graduation) ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency OH license Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred Case Logs: 50 deliveries in the last 12 months with at least 5 being C-sections Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS
