Material Handler

Midway Staffing is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Production Material Handler to keep materials available for production, mixing, and packaging operations. POSITION DETAILS Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday-Thursday Hours: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Four 10-hour shifts per week Schedule is subject to change based on production needs Overtime is required as needed Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Environment: Dry production and manufacturing environment KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Complete a thorough forklift inspection at the beginning of each shift Read and follow the daily production schedule Ensure materials are available for production, mixing, and packaging Operate a forklift to transport products, raw materials, and equipment Deliver materials to production lines and mixing rooms as needed Sort and organize materials for processing or transportation Read work orders and verify production specifications Record operational and production information accurately Communicate effectively with supervisors and production team members Perform manual production or material-handling duties as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all GMP, safety, quality, housekeeping, and environmental procedures Perform other duties assigned by the production supervisor QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Valid forklift operator certification or license Previous material-handling, forklift, or production experience is preferred Ability to read work orders and follow production schedules Strong attention to detail Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and get on and off equipment throughout the shift Ability to operate forklift foot controls for extended periods #ZR
