FIRST SHIFT Machine Operator

Therm, Incorporated a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking qualified individuals for machine operation. FIRST SHIFT ONLY (7:00am -3:30pm) Overtime as needed or as business necessitates. Starting wage dependent upon experience. PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience appreciated but not required. Various openings exist in our Mill, Lathe, Grind, Polish, CNC, EDM and Weld manufacturing cell areas for qualified machine operators. Set up, operation and function of machinery to perform a variety of machine operations on various metal alloy parts according to prescribed specifications in processes, layout, blueprint and/or work instructions. Ability to read, understand and work to process sheets and blueprints. Must be able to work to tight tolerances and possess a strong mathematical aptitude. Good verbal and written skills a must. Perform other duties as assigned. At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to and including 70 pounds. Must pass a physical examination including drug testing. Background checks also performed.
