Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The position carries blood and body fluid "Exposure Risk Level 1."Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:Maintenance of carpet throughout the building including -shampooing, spotting, and vacuumingMaintenance of all tile throughout the building including washing, waxing, buffing, and strippingPerforms housekeeping duties when neededIs responsible for linen distribution at the end of the shiftDistributes supplies to each housekeeper at the end of the dayResponsible for trash runs during the day from all assigned locationsOther duties as assignedFloor Tech Required Education and Experience:Knowledge of side by side, boost machine, and high-speed bufferHigh School Diploma or GED RequiredPrior Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a Plus
