Working schedule based on business needs as follows:Must be open to working 2nd shifts and weekends*Employee will train on 1st for 4 to 6 months then move to either 2nd or 3rd shift.Shift preference is determined by shop seniority.Saturday OT is 6 hours Standard per shift.Details of rotation of overtime coverage during the weekends (frequency and hours)Expected to work OT as required by business demands.I fully expect our team to work as needed but strive to be as fair as possible.By providing a months out mandatory schedule, we allow our teams to better schedule time off but this is not set in stone.Team trades shifts, and flex their schedules to do what is needed.OT is in alignment with our human rights policy.No more than 59.98 worked hours a week.No more than 6 consecutive days in a row.What do you get to do in this position?Controls/Technical support for various Shift production and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations.Maintain current documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position.Requirements:Minimum or currently pursuing a 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related fieldSome experience in the Electrical fieldMust be opened to working 2nd shift and weekendsExperience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic SystemsPLC programming skillsElectrical/Mechanical ExperienceAbility to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
