Here, you'll find a place to grow and make a real impact with your perspective, driving us forward in improving patient care.Learn about the Danaher Business System (https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system) which makes everything possible.The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.This position reports to the Sr. Area Service Manager and is part of the Field Service organization and works remotely to cover the Pittsburgh, PA territory.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:+ Install, repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.+ Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Review solutions with customers; discuss needs and ensure a safe operation situation.+ Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.The essential requirements of the job include:+ Associate's degree / Technical Associate's degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or relevant Military experience+ Recent graduate or 1+ year experience as a Field Service Engineer or basic troubleshooting experience in: Electromechanical, Networking, IT system upgrades or similarTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:+ This position requires travel up to 30-35%, which may potentially include overnight stays, within the Pittsburgh, PA area+ Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:+ Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.+ Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.+ Experience in the medical fieldRadiometer, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
