Control Systems Engineer

Technical Source is currently in search of a Control Systems Engineer for our clients located in Concord, NC or Raleigh, NC. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the design, commissioning, start up, and troubleshooting of Rockwell/Allen Bradley Building Automation Systems used to control temperature, humidity, and airflow in data centers.Responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer include:Instrumentation and electrical design including creating instrument lists by examining P&ID drawingsWork on system design and configuration such as PLC and/or DCS control algorithmsInstalling project software and configuring onto site systemsProvide technical guidance as a part of the leadership teamQualifications of the Control Systems Engineer include:3+ years’ automation experienceExperience working with systems such as Rockwell: FactoryTalk Suite, RS Logix/Studio 5000, PlantPAx DCS, Aveva System PlatformBachelors degree in a technical fieldNot required, but experience with the following would be a plus: Johnson Controls (Facility Explorer or Metasys controller), Tridium: Niagara N4, SQL, familiarity with Kepware OPC server, ThinManager or VMwareWillingness to work onsite and travel to client sites*No C2C or Sponsorship is available at this time**Compensation will scale based on experience and fit*
