Maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely material flow are essential to supporting production success.Position Details🕒 Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 5:30am-4:00pm💼 Shift: 1st⏱️ Overtime: Required as business needsWhat You’ll Do -You will lead daily inventory operations while supporting material flow, team performance, and production readiness.Team Leadership & CoordinationLead and support inventory team members to meet daily material and production requirementsBalance manpower across the team to ensure efficient workflow and coverageAssign work based on employee strengths, skill level, and daily production needsServe as a working lead, modeling high standards in performance, attendance, and safetyProvide guidance, answer technical questions, and support employees in resolving issuesAssist with onboarding and transitioning new team members into assigned areasPromote a safe, quality‑focused, and team‑oriented work environmentInventory & Material Control OperationsMaintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely supply of materials to production areasPerform key inventory functions, including:Data entry of pick listsReceiving processesOrder Processing Management (OPM) activitiesEnsure pick lists are processed accurately and on time to meet production demandsMaintain inventory location accuracy and support inventory tracking effortsAct as a backup to perform all core inventory job functions as neededProblem Solving & Process ImprovementIdentify and remove bottlenecks affecting material flow or productivityTake ownership of assigned area and support decision‑making to improve operationsInitiate corrective actions, including maintenance requests or process adjustmentsSupport continuous improvement efforts, including 5S and Good‑to‑Go walkthroughsAssist the Materials Supervisor in tracking team performance and operational metricsSafety, Equipment & ComplianceEnsure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policiesOperate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes safely and effectivelyMaintain proper handling and storage of materialsPromote and sustain safety, quality, and productivity standards within the teamCommunication & Professional ExpectationsCommunicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross‑functional departmentsWork independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaborationMaintain reliable attendance and support mandatory overtimePerform all tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, and highly productive mannerFollow all company policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You Bring -Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent6 months to 1 year of experience in Inventory, Materials Control, or manufacturing environmentsLicenses & CertificationsForklift certificationCrane certificationKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience with inventory systems, materials flow, and manufacturing operationsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong computer and data entry skillsAbility to troubleshoot operational and inventory issuesStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDemonstrated leadership ability with a positive attitudeStrong organizational and time‑management skillsCore CompetenciesPositive attitude and team leadershipProblem solving and decision‑makingContinuous learning mindsetOrganization and follow‑throughAccountability and ownershipTraining & DevelopmentNew employee orientationJob‑specific training related to inventory systems, equipment, and material control processesWork Environment & Physical ExpectationsThis position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
