Senior Manager, Supplier Quality

In this highly visible role you will lead the Quality Management System and support internal and Customers.A typical day will consist of a myriad of quality centric activities from concept to full rate production within Quality Assurance. You will serve a number of internal and external customers including our DFM Engineering, QC, Case Management, Partner Management and our exceptional external Customers.If you thrive in ambiguity and strive to create a standard process - This role is for you!ResponsibilitiesManage Partner Quality Network activities and Partner auditsManage Supplier Quality Engineering Team to develop and improve supplier quality and production initiatives. Lead team of Virtual Quality Control Inspectors including goal setting and performance managementParticipate in Quality Management Systems activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 and Customer auditsSuperior BIG data analytics experienceEstablish and manage key quality system metrics and develop collection, analysis and reporting systems, which promote timely communication and corrective action from partnersEscalate nonconformities in the Quality System to Leadership where appropriateDevelop Partner quality planning/objectives, metrics and goals; lead efforts related to the Company’s Quality Vision and ObjectivesCreate a trusting partnership with the distributed network of Suppliers resulting in exceptional qualityFacilitate cross-functional Team optimization efforts and workshops geared towards Partner NCR/RMA reductionsChair Partner Review Board to reduce Partner rejectionsContinuously monitor and address emerging Partner issues while ensuring the most important projects/issues are identified through the Internal Quality Team process and effectively complete those projects in the shortest time possibleServe as a cultural leader promoting quality standards at all levelsQualifications and Experience:Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of 10 years experience in engineering, quality role, or equivalentMinimum of 5 years experience in supplier facing role or equivalent Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experienceExperience with APQP/PPAP elementsUse of various lab equipment: GD&T toolsInternal auditing experience iaw ISO 9001 standardsExpert in building partnerships with Suppliers and TeamsMechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledgeAble to read and interpret drawings/specificationsGood time management / project management capabilities Knowledge of Process Certification/Process RobustnessSolid analytic and articulation skillsPreferred Qualifications:Six Sigma Black Belt CertificationASQ CertificationFamiliar with Looker, Salesforce, Google SuiteISO 13485/AS9100/IATF 16949 experienceKnowledge of Process Certification/Process RobustnessXometry is an equal opportunity employer.
