Overview As an Events Program Manager, you will own end-to-end sourcing and execution for small- to mid-sized corporate meetings and events, helping scale Snowflake’s global Meetings & Events program. You’ll partner with Finance, Sourcing, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, high-quality experiences. The role emphasizes operational excellence, scalable processes, and the leverage of AI-enabled workflows to simplify planning and improve attendee experience. You’ll shape governance, playbooks, and supplier partnerships to support Snowflake’s growth and strategy. ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing and end-to-end execution for meetings, offsites, executive meetings, trainings, customer engagements, and internal eventsManage venue sourcing, contract negotiations, room blocks, group air, and transportationPartner with stakeholders to define event objectives and propose scalable solutionsDevelop and operationalize Snowflake’s global Meetings & Events strategy, governance, planning standards, and service modelsBuild and manage preferred supplier relationshipsConduct sourcing events and RFPs, negotiate terms, and drive cost savingsCoordinate attendee air travel with Global Travel team for a seamless experienceSupport implementation and administration of meetings and event technology (sourcing platforms, booking tools, registration, reporting, payments) and QA AI-enabled workflowsCreate dashboards, KPIs, and reporting on spend, supplier performance, attendee experience, policy compliance, and program healthIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, increase automation, and enhance user experience through tech and AIDevelop playbooks, documentation, and standardized processes for scalable event planningEnsure compliance with policies, risk controls, and financial controls throughout the lifecycleStay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the programSupport additional strategic Travel & Expense initiatives and cross-functional projects Key requirements5+ years in corporate meetings/events, strategic sourcing, travel management, hospitality, or procurementProven experience negotiating venue, hotel, and supplier contractsExperience managing group travel and complex meeting logisticsStrong project management in fast-paced environmentsExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-buildingStrong analytical skills with experience in reports, dashboards, and metricsExperience with meetings/travel/event technology platforms (e.g., Cvent, Groupize, HRS, Navan) is preferredExperience leveraging automation, AI, or workflow technology to improve processes is a plusProfessional certifications such as CMP, CMM, or related credentials are a plusstakeholder managementcommunicationrelationship-buildingCventGroupizeHRS
