Our tutors choose the jobs that fit their expertise and schedule, and our growing partnerships with school districts mean a steady pipeline of meaningful work — especially in special education, where demand continues to outpace supply.RequirementsRequirementsBachelor's degree required (degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred)Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs — whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutorFamiliarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.)Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodationsStrong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged onlineAbility to pass a background checkReliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspacePreferred (not Required)Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special EducationExperience with specific methodologies such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacyBilingual (Spanish/English) a plusBenefitsFlexible schedule — work when you want100% remoteSet your own hourly rateConsistent flow of students matched to your expertiseOpportunity to make a real difference for students who need it most
