Job DescriptionAdelphi is seeking a physician to provide hybrid Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and addiction care services for patients in outpatient substance use treatment clinics. The physician will support patients with substance use disorders through medication management, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. Must obtain California driver's license following hire date per California DMV regulationsResponsibilities: Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disordersConduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.Prescribe and manage MAT medications including:Buprenorphine / Suboxone, Methadone,Naltrexone / VivitrolSupervise one Nurse PractitionerPerform crisis intervention, including prescribing and administering emergency medications.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services including NPs, counselors, therapists, and case managers.Evaluate patients for voluntary/involuntary commitment and complete required documentation.Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.Support continuity of care for patients engaged in day treatment and substance use programs.Any other duties as assigned.
