Director Of Land Survey And Geospatial Services Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering and infrastructure consulting firm to identify a director of land survey and geospatial services for a direct hire opportunity. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic professional ready to lead and expand a multidisciplinary land surveying and geospatial data practice.Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and financial performance of the surveying and geospatial services group. The director will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality solutions across infrastructure and development markets.Responsibilities include:Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the land survey and geospatial services practice, including financial performance and growth initiativesDevelop and execute business development strategies in partnership with senior leadership and market teamsExpand relationships with existing clients while securing new opportunities aligned with annual business plansOversee project delivery through accountable project managers, ensuring budgets, schedules, quality standards, and client satisfaction are achievedGuide proposal development efforts and ensure alignment with company standards and value propositionsIdentify emerging market opportunities and represent the firm through industry engagement and professional involvementCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions across regions and service linesBuild, mentor, and retain a high-performing technical and project management teamSupport workforce planning, staffing alignment, and professional development initiativesTravel approximately 25% as neededQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related discipline (master's degree preferred)Professional land surveyor (pls) license or equivalent required15+ years of progressive experience in land surveying or geospatial services within a technical professional services environmentPrior senior leadership experience with responsibility for strategy, growth, and financial performanceBroad expertise in boundary and topographic surveys, construction layout, gis, lidar, uavdrone data capture, and emerging geospatial technologiesDemonstrated success leading client relationships, managing full project lifecycles, and executing strategic growth plansStrong financial acumen and ability to translate strategy into operational executionProven ability to build collaborative, high-performing teams and develop long-term client partnershipsThis is an opportunity to lead a growing practice, influence firmwide strategy, and make a measurable impact across infrastructure and development projects.
