OR Registered Nurse | Culdesac, Idaho

A skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse is needed for an 8-hour day shift position in Culdesac, ID. This contract role requires a dedicated RN who demonstrates advanced critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the surgical environment. The nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR personnel to deliver safe and efficient patient care while adhering to state nursing standards and hospital policies.Key Responsibilities:Schedule surgical cases and ensure timely case flowVerify and manage surgical supplies and equipment readinessCommunicate effectively with patients' familiesUpdate and maintain physician preference cardsPerform scrubbing and circulating duties during surgeriesSupervise and support OR team members providing patient careQualifications / Desired Experience:Idaho RN license or multi-state RN license, current and attached upon submissionACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart AssociationMinimum of 3 years recent OR RN experience in a hospital settingExperience with General Surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery preferred, Orthopedic cases including robotic knee replacement, Trauma, and NeurosurgerySchedule / Hours:Monday through Friday, Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PMOn-call one weekday per week and one weekend day per monthAbout Culdesac, ID: Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Idaho, Culdesac offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty.
