EFDA Dental Assistant
Job description
Looking for an enthusiastic EFDA who is looking to expand their horizons within the dental profession. Loking for someone who takes immense pride in their work. Must be willing to jump into new procedures and assist with unique treatment modalities. Your attitude and personality must be able to carry the day to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for patients and staff. You’ll provide excellent customer service, be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to adapt to our way of doing things and also educate on better ways of doing things while respecting dental office policies. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible, all the while enjoying what you’re doing.
Responsibilities
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist and hygienist utilizing 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental office clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
Experience as dental assistant preferred
Good computer skills, we use Dentrix
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Depends on experience, most likely $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, EFDAs pay will be based on experience.

Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year is preferred, willing to talk to you if you think you have what it takes.
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification required
Heb B Vaccination required
