BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12+ months, possible extension based on business needsJob Type: OnsitePay Range: $70/hr. - $74/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Verification Engineer III to support the verification and validation of electrical systems and hardware products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical verification, hardware bring-up, debugging, test automation, and validation of complex electronic systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute verification plans for electrical systems and hardware products.Define verification requirements, methodologies, and test strategies.Design, implement, and maintain automated test infrastructure and validation frameworks.Perform electrical verification, hardware validation, and system-level testing.Execute hardware bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.Develop and execute test plans while tracking verification progress and reporting results.Analyze test data and drive issue resolution with cross-functional engineering teams.Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and power supplies for validation and debugging.Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.Document verification procedures, test results, and technical findings.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.5–10 years of experience in electrical verification, hardware validation, or product verification.Strong experience with hardware bring-up, electrical debugging, and failure analysis.Experience with test automation and scripting.Working knowledge of Python, C#, and LabVIEW.Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other electronic lab equipment.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AI tools or AI-assisted engineering workflows.Experience with data analysis and visualization.Background in consumer electronics, wearable devices, or embedded hardware systems.Familiarity with modern hardware development and validation processes.Experience developing scalable automated test solutions.Benefits:BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
