Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer (RF Design)
As a member of the Product Support Engineering team you will be tasked with investigating a variety of problems including RF/Analog, digital, assembly, SMT and test related. As new products are launched you will interface with design engineering, assisting with root cause analysis, troubleshooting of prototypes and ensuring a successful launch into full rate production. Mitigating component shortages through qualifying alternatives or redesigning circuits and sub-assemblies. Determining design, process, and test improvements to increase test yields and product quality. Working in cross-functional teams to meet manufacturability, testability and other DFx requirements for volume production. Working with design engineering and manufacturing teams to introduce new designs into manufacturing. Working with design engineering to make necessary circuit changes prior to and during the launch of new products. Working with vendors, Quality and Supply Chain to address material discrepancies. Troubleshooting unit, modules, and boards to the component level. Ability to work independently with general supervision. Ability to design and conduct engineering experiments and act upon test results. Design and analysis of circuits and components utilizing ADS, Matlab and various design and simulation tools. Experienced in leading small technical design or troubleshoot team, providing direction and prioritizing tasks to meet target yields and shipments. Ability to use typical lab equipment: Oscilloscope, DMM, Spectrum & Network analyzers, and signal generators. Ability to Obtain a US Security Clearance Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Electrical engineering degree. Experience with MS Office including advanced spreadsheet manipulation and presentation creation.
