We are seeking an experienced residential electrician to support electrification upgrades and home performance projects. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working in existing homeshandling panel upgrades, dedicated circuits, and the electrical scope of heat pump and other electrification systems.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and upgrade electrical panels, subpanels, and feedersRun dedicated circuits for heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, EV chargers, and other loadsReplace or modernize legacy wiring (e.g., knob-and-tube, ungrounded systems)Perform electrical work associated with home electrification and decarbonization projectsCoordinate with in-house HVAC and insulation teamsEnsure all work meets electrical codes, permitting requirements, and company quality standardsMaintain a safe and organized job siteQualificationsJourneyman-level residential electrical experience (or minimum 45 years in the field)Demonstrated experience performing electrical work in residential remodels and retrofit environmentsExperience installing dedicated circuits for heat pumps and heat pump water heatersExperience working with electrical main panels, subpanels, and service upgradesExperience installing and bending conduit (EMT or similar) in residential applicationsComfortable working in older homes with varied conditionsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyGood communication and teamwork skillsValid drivers license with clean driving recordCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience and certifications)Full-time, year-round workHealth insurancePaid holidays and PTOTools, safety gear, and ongoing training providedOpportunities for long-term growth within a respected companyWork AreaBased in Walnut Creek, CAProjects throughout the East Bay and nearby countiesTo ApplySend your resume and a short introduction telling us about your experience and interest in residential retrofit work.We look forward to hearing from you.
