Director of Development - Non-Profit Fundraising / Capital Campaign FamilyMatters, A JAFCO Support Network, located in Bala Cynwyd, PA, seeks an experienced Director of Development who will develop and implement a capital campaign along with an overall comprehensive fundraising strategy for the organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will oversee all aspects of fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in fundraising, strong communication skills, and a passion for the organization’s mission. FamilyMatters is growing, expanding and will be relocating to 28,000 sq. ft. completely renovated building and this is a unique opportunity for the right person to learn and grow with us, while also helping children and families in crisis. The salary is $100,000-$130,000, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Holidays and Sick Leave Voluntary Short- and Long- Term Disability Insurance A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) A 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match The Director of Development will oversee the fundraising team and the job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Fundraising Strategy Development & Messaging Capital and Other Campaign Management Donor Cultivation and Stewardship Grant Management Special Events Management Corporate Partnerships Budget Management Team Leadership Data Analysis and Reporting Collaboration and Communication Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, business administration, communications, or a related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in non-profit fundraising, with a demonstrated track record of success in donor cultivation, campaign management, and grant writing Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving fundraising goals Excellent communication skills, including writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication Proficiency in fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices, regulations, and compliance standards Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a clean driving record Ability to work nights and weekends as needed Please apply now for immediate and confidential consideration.
