Tutor (K-12)

Team Tutors (www.teamtutors.com), a leading in-home tutoring company in Los Angeles, has immediate openings for academic and test preparation tutors. We provide one-on-one, in-home homework and study help, as well as instruction for the following exams: ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, SAT and ACT Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus. We provide training and teaching materials. Hours are flexible and you can design your own schedule. These part-time tutoring assignments are ideal for someone who is interested in earning supplemental income. Our students are located throughout Los Angeles and the Valley. Remote instruction is possible, though we are currently seeking applicants who have the ability to meet students in-person in Los Angeles. Qualifications: Ability to build rapport with students Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation Compensation is negotiable.
