Job DescriptionGHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med Surg / TelemetryDiscipline: RNStart Date: 06/08/2026Duration: 1 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelEstimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2686.72\n\nOpportunity:\nMS/Tele FLOAT RN\n\nJob Details:\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n• 36 hours guaranteed per week over 13-week assignment\n• Weekend, holiday, and call requirements\n• Must be comfortable floating to multiple units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics\n• Current New York nursing license required\n• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment (first-time travelers not considered)\n• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing required\n• Previous hospital RN experience preferred\n• Coronary Care experience needed\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS\n• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care\n• Ability to assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects\n• Must recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling techniques\n• Ability to function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills\n• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate\n• May be required to assume charge nurse duties\n• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required\n• Experience with MEDITECH charting system\n\nFacility:\nThis medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with multiple specialized units including medical/surgical, progressive care, intensive care, emergency department, and pediatric services.
