Warehouse Order SelectorLocation: Onsite Carol Stream, IL Duration: 6 month Schedule: Monday through Friday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM Occasional overtime as neededJob Summary: The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders using a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ). This role involves transporting completed pallets to the dock, supporting inventory and receiving activities, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Work is performed in varying temperature conditions.Responsibilities:Operate a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) / walkie rider safely and efficientlyPick and pack customer orders using pick sheets or scanner instructionsLabel and organize products for accurate fulfillmentPalletize and stage orders for shipmentTransport completed pallets to the dock areaUse handheld scanners to track inventory and order statusAssist with receiving and inventory management as neededMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequired Skills:Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, including ride-on EPJ operationOrder picking and packing experienceExperience with inventory, receiving, and handheld scannersAbility to operate warehouse equipment safelyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier items with assistance)Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shiftBasic computer and scanner literacyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsMust be at least 18 years oldIn-person interview and EPJ skills test requiredEmployment gaps must be explained on resumePreferred Skills:High school diploma or equivalentTools/Environment:Ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) / Walkie RiderHandheld RF scannersWarehouse environment with varying temperatures (refrigerated and dry storage)PPE required; adherence to all safety protocols
