In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud platforms that support connected IoT products, smart devices, and real-time video applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance cloud services that power next-generation connected cameras and IoT ecosystems used globally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions, impacting millions of users by enabling seamless device-to-cloud communication and real-time data processing.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Extensive experience in Java backend development, with a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices.Proficiency with AWS cloud services, including designing and deploying scalable distributed systems.Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, supporting mobile applications and connected devices.Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, and experience working with DynamoDB and Git.Strong knowledge of secure, high-performance cloud service architecture.Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Bonus skills include experience with smart home or consumer electronics products, IoT ecosystems, real-time video streaming, and large-scale backend infrastructure development.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust backend services that support IoT devices, smart home products, and real-time media streaming applications.Collaborate with product managers, hardware teams, and front-end developers to deliver integrated solutions that meet user needs and technical specifications.Implement secure APIs and ensure data privacy and security standards are adhered to across all cloud services.Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging AWS services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, and EC2.Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, applying best practices for incident response and resolution.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for ongoing projects.BenefitsVaco LLC offers a competitive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and professional growth of our employees.
