Marketing Assistant – Job DescriptionFor more than a century, Ben E. Keith Company has been a leader in fine food and premium beverage distribution, and we strive to consistently exceed our customers' expectations.Our Food Division is a complete broad line multi-state distributor, and our Beverage Division operates throughout the state of Texas as a proud distributor of Anheuser-Busch products, craft and import beer brands, spirits, and wine.We are dedicated to the growth and success of our business, our customers, and our employees—continuing our commitment to delivering quality since 1906.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Administrative SupportProvide administrative support including research, data collection, report preparation, and information requestsCreate, edit, and maintain presentations, reports, and marketing materialsProofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and brand consistencyAssist in developing proposals, presentations, and sales materialsMaintain organized project files, schedules, and documentationEvent Planning & CoordinationPlan, coordinate, and execute division events, including: Annual Food ShowHoliday ShowsDivision Sales MeetingsWarehouse & Transportation Appreciation BanquetManage event logistics, timelines, materials, and vendor coordinationSupport promotional purchasing and distribution of marketing materialsMarketing Execution & Content CreationAssist in executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiativesSupport development and distribution of point-of-sale materials, promotions, and sales reportsCreate and publish content, including YouTube and digital platformsAssist with copywriting, graphic design, and photo/video editingCoordinate customer photoshoots for their websites and menusHelp design digital publications (e.g., quarterly magazine)Collaboration & CommunicationWork cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and purchasing teamsMaintain strong internal and external communicationsStay current on industry trends, competitors, and social media activitySupport brand consistency across all channels and materialsProject ManagementCreate and manage project plans, task lists, timelines, and agendasUtilize tools such as Monday.com, JotForm, Campaign Monitor, and Microsoft FormsAssist with special projects and campaigns as assignedKey CompetenciesStrong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProject and event planning skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsUnderstanding of brand voice and audience engagementCollaborative, team-oriented mindsetAdaptability, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or 1–3 years of relevant experienceExperience with marketing operations, digital marketing, and content creationIntermediate to advanced skills in graphic design, photo/video editing, and copywritingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier ProAbility to present information effectively to internal teams and external audiencesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProactive, resourceful, and eager to learnAdditional RequirementsAbility to lift 25 lbs or moreValid driver's license (if driving for company business)Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight staysAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policiesRegular, reliable attendance requiredWork environment includes office setting with occasional warehouse or customer site visitsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceShort and Long Term Disability401K with matching contributionProfit-Sharing Plan (100% company-paid)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramEducational Assistance ProgramPaid Vacation and holidaysEmployee Credit UnionBen E.
