Manual Machinist/Lathe Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist and Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge. Required Previous experience working as a manual machinist in a manufacturing or job‑shop environment. Strong lathe skills, including ID grind, cut and pressure knurl operations and ability to hold tight tolerances. Experience working with large metal parts. Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings. Comfort working with stainless steel and other hard metals. Strong attention to detail and patience for long setup times. Ability to safely operate overhead cranes for material handling. Preferred Experience performing repair or rework machining. Boring mill, Horizontal mill, index head, surface grind, and OD grind Background in industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing. Familiarity with quality‑focused manufacturing environments. Ability to work well with others and independently in various situations Own basic hand, measuring and set up tools.
