Audubon Hospice is committed to delivering personalized care and maintaining the dignity of every individual.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid role for a Hospice Director of Nursing based in Lafayette, LA. The Director will oversee all aspects of nursing care within the hospice programs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities include leading nursing staff, managing patient care plans, implementing infection control policies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver superior care. The role also involves staff education, performance evaluation, and oversight of quality assurance initiatives.QualificationsStrong expertise in Nursing and Nursing Management, with proven leadership experience in healthcare settings.In-depth knowledge of Infection Control practices and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.Comprehensive understanding of Medicine, including hospice and palliative care practices.Experience in end-of-life care, with the ability to address the needs of patients with terminal conditions.Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Commitment to empathetic patient care and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
