Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Patent Attorney/Agent/Tech PhD with a background in Biotechnology or Chemistry. The role involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, invalidity search/analysis; analyzing technical documents to assist with patent prosecution, counseling, post-grant proceedings, and litigations. Patent Attorneys, Agents and Technology Specialists can be considered in Boston, NY or DC. QualificationsExperience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications and patent preparationStrong knowledge of Patent Law and patentabilityAdvanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related fieldAttorneys should have admission to a Bar and the USPTOPatent Agents should be registered USPTOExcellent communication skillsPrior experience in a legal or intellectual property role
