Validation Engineer

Overview In this role you will validate analog power ICs through comprehensive plans and bench setups, collaborating with IC design teams to close performance gaps. You will automate data collection, characterize devices, and drive silicon issue resolution, contributing to reliable, low-power electronics. You work across product engineering, test engineering, or validation engineering to support qualification and product release. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, data-driven decision making, and impact at scale. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive pay and benefits ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute validation plans for analog power ICs across operating conditionsDesign and build bench test setups including hardware fixtures and software automationCharacterize device performance and identify deviations from specificationIdentify, document, and drive resolution of silicon issues through debugging and root cause analysisCollaborate with IC design engineers to validate functional correctness and resolve performance gapsDevelop scripts and tools to automate data collection, measurement, and analysisSupport product release by executing reliability and qualification testing per industry standards Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in product engineering, test engineering, validation engineering, hardware validation, or related technical roleStrong verbal and written communicationAbility to establish relationships with stakeholdersTeam collaboration across functionsBasic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital componentsKnowledge of analog circuitry (op-amps, DC/DC converters, LDOs, data converters)Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, source-measure units, signal generators, thermal chambers)
