We're hiring a Loader Operator for our Colorado Ready-Mix team apply today and build your future with BURNCO.You will safely operate a front-end loader to support batch plant production efficiency. You will follow all plant safety procedures, ensure consistent and effective equipment operation, and perform regular maintenance to keep machinery in optimal working condition.What you will be doing:Operate front-end loader to move materials between aggregate stockpiles, storage bins, hoppers, and haul trucks to support efficient plant operations.Maintain proper inventory levels and organized stockpiles within the yard and bin areas.Collect aggregate load tickets and submit them daily to the batch office.Perform routine equipment maintenance, including cleaning, fueling, greasing, and completing daily service inspections.Assist with additional maintenance tasks such as cleaning bins, washout ponds (if applicable), and other plant areas.Support a safe and efficient workplace by maintaining clean, organized work areas and participating in regular housekeeping duties.Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable safety and quality standards, including OSHA regulations.Report potential hazards, promote a strong safety culture, and actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth plant operations.What we would like from you:Reliable attendance and flexibility to work irregular hours, including scheduled Saturdays.Skilled in the safe operation of power tools, welders, cutting torches, chains, and related safety equipment.Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.Related industry experience is a plus.Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment is preferred.High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Location and other key details:This is a full-time permanent field-based position at our Jeffco Plant, 20855 Westgate Road, Golden, CO 80403.Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and challenging outdoor environmentsThis is a safety sensitive position, offers of employment are conditional on successful completion of fitness for duty assessments, including drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background checkFrequent sitting and use of fine motor skills such as manual dexterity, hand / eye coordination, and active hearing and visionRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, vests, and glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats, with additional PPE for special jobs as requiredSalary Range: $25 and up with ExperienceWhy BURNCO?Be part of a supportive, high-performing team that values your growth and successEnjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and moreExperience our inclusive, collaborative, and safety-focused cultureTake part in team events, professional development activities, and community initiativesJoin us and be part of an organization that values safety above all.
