Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Dillion, SC Zip Code: 29536 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $23.50 - $28.00/hr DoE Schedule: Friday - Sun 6am - 6pm, Friday - Sun 6pm - 6am Keywords: Maintenance Technician Jobs Production Jobs U.S. Citizenship is RequiredJob Responsibilities:Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.Correctly interpret work order.Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.Assist in maintaining inventories (critical parts, supplies, etc.)Maintain and repair industrial electrical circuits.Ability to fabricate and install guards, steps, handrails, platforms, etc.Ability to enter and schedule work ordersAbility to identify and implement preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.Perform all levels of facility maintenance tasksMentor and train level 1 and level 2 maintenance technicians.Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.Perform other duties as requested by lead, supervisor or manager.Required Qualifications:MUST have a valid US Passport or birth certification to be clearedHigh school diploma or GED required;6 - 10 years of manufacturing experience;Strong Welding Experience - MIG, STICK/ArcElectrical / Wiring experiencePrior military experience; or technical certification / degree requiredIntermediate ability to use all hand tools, wrenches, etc.Intermediate ability to use all power toolsIntermediate ability to use diagnostic tools (amp probes, voltage meters)Intermediate ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers, calipers, comparatorsIntermediate ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skillsIntermediate ability to read and interpret work instructions and intermediate prints and dimensionsMust be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on a repetitive basis.Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours.Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials.Must be able to safety operate an overhead crane, boom lift and manlift.Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level.Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery.Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.Visual acuity skill to detect any flaws in the parts being inspected
