We underwrite and manage structured, medium-term, private equity-backed loans to entrepreneurs and private investors. In addition, we may engage in advisory services for active private investors on the best ways to finance strategic investments or restructure stressed balance sheets.Structured Lending – We provide highly structured loans of 3 to 6 years in maturity to private individuals to match the specific client needs and the intended investment use of proceeds. NYPF’s loans range in amounts from $5 MM to $25 MM and are fully secured with collateral consisting mainly of private equity interests or other ownership interests in private assets.Advisory Services - We advise on structuring financing transactions for private clients' strategic investments and help clients raise the funds from banking and non-banking sources.Job SummaryThe Credit Analyst will support the group’s Vice President and Chief Credit Officer with respect to the division’s lending function defined below. Primary responsibilities will be to conduct financial modeling, due diligence, memoranda drafting, and documentation on lending transactions. Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Attend and assist loan prospect and prospective client meetingsParticipate in the due diligence investigation of potential borrowersAssist in all due diligence activities for new loan transactions, including external and internalReceive, collect and log-in due diligence materialsPerform research on industry, economic and credit risks relating to prospective borrower, and the potential collateralCreate financial models and analysis of borrowers and collateral companies to support credit analysis and documentationParticipate in collateral definition and appraisal processPrepare drafts of term sheets and credit memorandaReview and respond to the draft credit documents and related schedulesAttend internal credit meetings concerning the loan credit activitiesAdvisory ServicesReceive, collect and log-in due diligence materialsCreate financial models and analysis of client information to support credit client recommendations and documentationCreate client recommendations and presentationsAttend and assist at client meetingsBusiness DevelopmentAssist business development officers in new client generationAssist in design and production of prospect and client communicationsAssist in design and production of new business pitch materialsAttend new business meetingsQualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, organizational skills and a proactive customer service approach.
