About The RoleWe’re seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth and execution of VTE (Venous Thromboembolism) programs across our Central Atlantic Regional (Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana) market. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Field Sales, Strategic/Key Accounts, and hospital stakeholders to build scalable, data-driven programs that drive clinical impact and business growth. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert, helping lead/coordinate program strategy, execution, and training across priority accounts while influencing both clinical and economic decision-makers.What You’ll DoHelp lead development, execution, and expansion of VTE and Arterial programs across key hospital and IDN accountsOwnership along with local field stakeholders strategic program growth across ~15 priority focus accountsPartner with Regional Leaders, Strategic Sales, and Account Managers to drive adoption and performance within supported regionsEngage clinical, operational, and economic stakeholders to build sustainable, top-down program strategiesUtilize economic analysis and clinical performance data to support business cases and growth initiativesTrain and enable field teams on VTE Excellence concepts and evolving initiativesDrive measurable outcomes including program growth, physician engagement, and account penetration with local sales stakeholdersChampion collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture aligned with Stryker valuesPartner with Strategic Sales/Customer Solutions to support PV overarching commercial needs in supported regions.What You Bring6–7+ years of business development or similar within MedTech or healthcareProven success building and scaling hospital-based programsStrong business acumen with experience leveraging financial and clinical dataAbility to influence across functions and work independentlyExcellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skillsBachelor’s degree required (MBA or advanced degree preferred)Leadership Experience PreferredSales Base + commission: $125,000.00 salary and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.Health benefits include: Medical and prescription drug insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, personalized healthcare support, wellbeing program and tobacco cessation program.
