Program Manager 2 Austin, TX (Remote within Texas)6 month Contract with possibility to extensionWorker will perform these tasks:Take large, complex problems or efforts and drive them to successful outcomes with a high value placed on cross-team collaboration, customer satisfaction and improving IT operationsDevelop accurate plans that contemplate resources and dependencies across teams and manage to the planTake identified need for new services, processes, team capabilities, etc. and identify plan, execute and implement.Assist in negotiating mutually satisfactory solutions to cross-team needs or problems;Establish and identify mechanisms for partnering with internal and external partners and all teams within ITAssist in the establishment of effective committees designed to efficiently make decisions or serve in advisory roles to the teamPartner with overall Client's IT Transformation Program Office and IT Towers to ensure continuous alignment for the life of the program.Provide coordination and support for various governance and advisory groups;Review and provide feedback on project deliverables and collateral.Required Skills and Experience:Years - Skills/Experience5 - Familiar with standards, concepts, practices, and procedures of project management3 - Experience working in large transformation projects (information systems, system integration or other large projects).3 - Experience working with Quality Assurance efforts2 - Experience executing communication, dashboards, and various change management activities2 - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute in situations where incomplete information is available2 - Demonstrated ability to be a positive, contributing and desired member of a team or effort2 - Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices3 - Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Skills and Experience:Years - Skills/Experience2+ - Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices3+ - Information systems, system integration or project delivery experience.1 - Experience working with external vendors and/or Quality Assurance efforts a plus
