Senior Accountant | $90,000 to $100,000 + Bonus/Benefits | HybridWe are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers broad exposure across month end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, process improvement, and cross functional collaboration within a fast paced environment.The Senior GL Accountant will play a key role in the month end close process and support the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial reporting. This individual will work closely with accounting leadership and business partners across the organization while helping drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support month end, quarter end, and year end close activitiesPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variancesAssist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedulesSupport internal and external audit requestsAnalyze financial data and provide commentary on fluctuations and trendsPartner cross functionally with finance, operations, AP, AR, and other departmentsAssist with process improvement initiatives and automation effortsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standardsSupport ad hoc reporting and special projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required3+ years of general ledger accounting experienceStrong understanding of month end close and financial reporting processesExperience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills preferredERP experience strongly preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a deadline driven environment
